Massillon City’s Trick or Treat is on Sunday, October 26th from 3pm to 5pm.
Massillon’s annual Independence Day celebration is set for Thursday, July 3, 2025. Although this event marks the city’s recognition of July 4th and Independence Day, all festivities—including the fireworks show and the Miss Li’l Liberty & Li’l Uncle Sam Pageant—take place on July 3rd.
Before the fireworks, the Miss Li’l Liberty & Li’l Uncle Sam Pageant will offer children in the community a chance to show their patriotic spirit.
The evening will feature music and food vendors to create a festive atmosphere before the main fireworks show. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating. New Wave Nation will be performing at 7:00pm at Duncan Plaza Amphitheater as part of the Massillon Summer Concert Series.

The K8 Event Team is thrilled to announce its relocation and expansion to the Massillon Knights Foundation property, located at 988 Cherry Rd. NW, Massillon, OH 44647. Known for producing high-energy concerts in Canal Fulton, the team is now partnering with the Massillon Knights Foundation (MKF) to bring an exciting lineup of live music performances to the newly planned Massillon Knights Foundation Outdoor Concert Area.
The 2025 summer concert series will feature ten incredible shows, offering a premier entertainment experience for Massillon residents and visitors alike. Season passes are available for $75, providing access to all concerts along with a complimentary beverage at each event. Individual tickets will also be available for $10 per concert. Children under 18 will enjoy free entry when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
“We are excited to bring a new level of music entertainment to Massillon,” said David Thomas, President of the K8 Event Team. “For the last three years, we put on all the concerts at Canal Fulton and helped them plan the construction of the amphitheater at St. Helena Heritage Park. The cost to put on these concerts in Massillon is very high—our budget for this season exceeds $60,000. Beyond the concerts themselves, we’re committed to enhancing the venue experience and helping local youth in financial need get access to music instruments and lessons. Massillon is a great town, and we’re honored to be part of making it even better.”
The Massillon Knights Foundation is situated on 21 acres of property with ample parking, making it an ideal venue for large-scale events. In the event of weather-related cancellations, concerts will be rescheduled indoors, with season passholders receiving exclusive access to these limited-seating performances.
The K8 Event Team is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in Stark County. Founded in memory of Kate Bowling, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 19, the organization raises funds to help children in financial need access instruments and music lessons. By presenting high-level tribute bands and fostering community through music, K8 Event Team ensures Kate’s passion for music lives on.
